We were told about a coffee shop in a tree house "just outside of Chiang Mai". After a packed week it sounded perfect! Rest, enjoy the sights in the tree house and a good cup of coffee. Well it turned into a 5 hour road trip in a tuck tuck. Not exactly the best therapy for a recovering injured disk in my back. We made it however long and did enjoy some hot drinks and some good laughs along the way. Now we are at the airport waiting to board the flight to Phuket. It'll be a late night as we only land in Phuket at midnight but we will take tomorrow slow. We are looking forward to relaxing on the beach.

PS ... Thanks to all of you for your encouragement as you read about our adventures! Writing a blog is a foreign experience for me as its a continual monologue- something I'm not comfortable with! (Especially as this blog isn't easy to post comments) But we love hearing from all of you as well via fb or whatever means.
