A Memorial service in Chompi

We were invited to attend a funeral service for a woman who had passed away in this village.  Mikayla and I went while the others stayed at the church in ktm to work on projects.

What a warm welcome we received today...

One beautiful aspect of Nepali life is they know how to be together.  They eat together in large numbers to celebrate life and death.  Here they are this afternoon celebrating a woman's life who has passed away.

"I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. "
